Abstract

A MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) az elmúlt 5 év legfontosabb oktatástechnológiai újítása a távoktatás területén. A tanulmány áttekinti ezen új oktatási forma kialakulásának történetét, a legfontosabb jellemzőit és típusait, a tanulási keretrendszerek hátterét adó tanuláselméleti irányzatokat, az alkalmazott értékelési formákat és az ebben a formában tanulókkal kapcsolatos tapasztalatokat. In the last 5 years the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is the most important IT-based innovation in the field of distance learning. This paper reviews the history, the main characteristic and the typology of the MOOC. The most important theories of learning involved in MOOC and the forms of assessment used in them are presented, too. Some experiences on the participations and the attritions are also reported.
