Abstract

A technológia rohamos fejlődése okozta éles váltás igénye az oktatás területén − több nemzetközi és hazai kutatás eredménye alapján − leginkább a generációs különbségekben nyilvánul meg. Az oktatási folyamatban résztvevő generációs csoportok a globalizációnak és a technológiai fejlődésnek köszönhetően nem csupán biológiai értelemben vett generációk. Akármelyik csoportba is tartozik az egyén, számára a digitális kompetencia fejlesztése elengedhetetlen, hiszen ez a 21. század oktatási rendszerének egyik kulcskompetenciája. Az oktatási rendszer felsőbb szintjein tanulni vágyók e széles és meglehetősen vegyes korosztályú rétegében a legnagyobb számmal a millenárisok képviseltetik magukat, az X-generáció tagjai mellett. Az oktatás újraértelmezése, a technológia nyújtotta lehetőségek oktatásban való kihasználása érdekében célszerű alaposan megismerni a résztvevő generációk sajátosságait a munka, a technológia, a tanulás dimenziójában és reális képet kapni a változó környezetben történő tanulási szokásaikról, így igazítva azt igényeikhez. The need of sharp changes caused by the rapid development of technology mostly manifested in the generation gap as several international and inland researchers in the field of education have pointed out. Today's attendance of learning process is not only a generation in biological sense, due to globalization and technological advance. The individual can belong to whichever age-group but the development of his digital literacy is essential, as it is one of the key competences of the education system in the 21st century. Individuals have a greater chance to succeed in its possession. Among this quite a wide and mixed-age stratum of participants on the higher level of the educational system the milennials are represented in the largest number, next to the generation X. For the sake of the re-interpretation of education, the use of the possibilities offered by technology in education, the specifics of the involved generations in dimensions of work, technology and learning should thoroughly be known to get a realistic picture of their learning habits in this changing environment, thus adjusting it to their needs.
